Status Assessment
First port of call is a complete assessment of the current situation in the organization in relation to the Employment Equity compliance obligations.
Headcount Classification
Essential Employee Declarations (EEA1) will inform citizenship, gender, and disability status. This is to be complemented by a job-grade by occupational level verification
Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments
Workplace assessments per s19.1 and 19.2 of the Act determine gaps and barriers to employment equity
Affirmative Action Measures
Where barriers are identified, measures to address such over the period of the EE-Plan.
Employment Equity Plan Build
Given the very stringent targets set by industry, each designated employer (employee 50+ employees) must develop and commit to a plan to achieve such targets
Ongoing Monitoring for Compliance
Monthly Meetings with the EE-Committee, addressing concerns & tracking progress on the EE-Plan.
